David Mareš from Department D5 – Ultrasonic Methods received the award for the best poster at the International Congress on Ultrasonics (ICU 2025), which took place from September 21–25, 2025, in Paderborn (Germany). ICU is a major international conference focused on the latest results and applications in the field of ultrasonic technologies.
The awarded poster presented a newly developed methodology based on ultra-transient grating spectroscopy, suitable for in-situ determination of anisotropic elastic and thermal properties of metallic materials, including thin monocrystalline layers.
