Czech Society for Mechanics and the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists has been organizing the competition for the Prof. Babuška Prize in the field of computer sciences, i.e. computer mechanics, computer analysis and numerical mathematics. For the year 2024, the first place in the category “student and graduate thesis” was awarded to our young researcher Anna Kovárnová under the supervision of Dr. Martin Isoz from the Department of Shocks and Waves in Solids.
