Tereza Vaňková přebírá Cenu prof. Babušky

Tereza Vaňková and Radim Dvořák succeeded in the competition for the Prof. Babuška Prize 2025

In the Prof. Babuška Prize competition, Category A (Doctoral Students and Ph.D. Candidates) for the year 2025, Ing. Tereza Vaňková, Ph.D., from the Laboratory of Surface Technologies and Material Degradation, was awarded 1st place. She received the prize for her thesis titled “Thermo-elasto-plastic material model with damage for simulations of hybrid woven composite material behavior with a thermoplastic matrix,” which was developed at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

In the same category (Category A), Ing. et Ing. Radim Dvořák, Ph.D., took 3rd place for his thesis titled “Development of innovative and robust numerical methods for modeling high-speed impact problems.” His specialist supervisor was doc. Ing. Radek Kolman, Ph.D., from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electrophysics.
