  1. Who is the controller of your data? The controller of your personal data is the Institute of Thermomechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, a public research institution, with its registered office at Dolejškova 1402/5, Prague 182 00, Czech Republic, Company ID: 61388998, (hereinafter referred to as the “controller” or “we”).   2. What personal data do we process? In connection with the recruitment process, we process the following personal data:
    • First name, last name, and title
    • Contact information (telephone, e-mail, address)
    • Information contained in your resume and cover letter (e.g., education, work experience, language skills)
    • Any other data you voluntarily provide to us
  1. What is the purpose of the data processing? We process your personal data solely for the purpose of carrying out the recruitment process for the position you are applying for and to assess your suitability for that position. With your consent, we may also retain your data to include you in a database of job applicants for future job opportunities.

    • The fulfilment of legal obligations and the legitimate interests of the controller—specifically, conducting the recruitment process.
    • Your consent—if you grant it, for example, to retain your data for future recruitment processes.
  1. How long do we retain the data? We retain your data for the duration of the recruitment process, but for no longer than six months after its completion, unless you give us explicit consent for a longer retention period.
  2. Who can your data be disclosed to? We do not disclose your personal data to any third parties, with the exception of:
    • Any data processors who provide us with technical or human resources support (e.g., IT service providers, HR agencies)
    • When required by law or a legitimate request from public authorities
