Researchers from the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS are involved in organizing the upcoming international conference on Martensitic Transformations, ICOMAT 2025, which will take place from September 7 to 12, 2025, in Prague. Several researchers from the Department of Ultrasound Methods at our institute are contributing to the organization of this prestigious gathering of experts in the field of martensitic transformations in metals. Prof. Hanuš Seiner serves as co-chair of the Local Organization and Program Committee, and its members also include Dr. Petr Sedlák, Dr. Miroslav Frost, Dr. Pavla Stoklasová, and Dr. Tomáš Grabec from the same department.
