On the occasion of the Czech-Taiwanese Investment and Business Forum and the visit to the Taiwanese delegation in the Czech Republic on 25 October 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan. The contract was signed by Miroslav Chomát, the Interim Director of the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS, and Mr. Ren-Chain Wang, Vice President and Director of ITRI Green Energy and Environment Research Laboratory (GEL). The Parties expressed their wish to explore cooperatation opportunities in certain technical fields including technologies for high-power hydrogen fuel cell systems. The topic is studied by the research group of Tomáš Němec in the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS.
