Programme: First hour looking at negotiation styles and negotiation theory – including some ‚real world’ examples and stories taken from academic/university settings. Then, after a short break, we will discuss some ‘power tools’ for negotiators: practical ideas for improving the likelihood of success in any negotiation, that participants will be able to start using in their negotiations straight away. This should leave us a bit of time at the end for a general discussion/questions-and-answers. To finish, electronic (pdf) hand-outs would include my one-page checklist for negotiators and my recommended reading list for participants who would like to study the subject further.
